Hello Everybody!
Well my worst fears have come true and you don't say krap
its more like cup cause asians can't say r! First off I saw Elder Wettestein and
he switched to be my escort, then the lady who was taking my picture for id was
Sis Line from AF it was Megan's mom! and the wife of one of the mtc
presidency is from Hillspring AB! I also saw Elder Chapin a few times he was
sooo happy; gave me a huge hug! Our teacher reminds me a lot of Stonehocker
except he is always speaking Thai which was tough at first. My comp is Elder
Ellsworth from Oklahoma; more on that from my letter which should reach you
soon! We have a real Thai investigator she has only been here a month and
doesn't speak a lick of English! We taught our first lesson on Friday and we
knew like 30 words max I was soo nervous! But she is soo nice! We have a
district of 8 with 2 sisters and one of them, Sis Carter, is a whiz at Thai she
has got the gift of interpretation of tongues; she regularly shocks our teacher! This Sunday I gave a talk in sacrament they just called me up and our phii
thais haven't even spoke yet! Our phii thais are awesome, really funny and pulled
some jokes on us like convincing us that Sis Church was from Thailand and couldn't
speak English (she was actually born and raised in Utah!) and convinced our DL
that Snoop Dogg was Mormon until he was 21 but Elder Slaughter is a bit utarded
like that so you can't blame him! Elder Chelson, in our district, is hilarious he
just is kinda quiet but then kills you with these jokes out of nowhere and
totally straightfaced! He's also killer smart and just goes off on all these
different subjects its really funny! Last night he made this
really funny remark to Sis Carter it was hilarious but sarcastic and she
tried to just shut him down and have none of it and he was like, "No
sarcasm, I guess that just leaves me with knock knock jokes!" we were dying and Sis Carter was still not impressed but he got her with a really funny one later
on so that was good! The time just flies in here it already feels like we've been
here forever! We're like, "Did we do that last week?" "Nope that was this morning Elder!" haha At first here I was kinda overwhelmed with everything and
especially the language! I've now got it all focused and according to the Elders
in my room I've been speaking Thai in my sleep! They're so jealous! Me and Elder Ellsworth can bear our testimonies and pray in Thai without our papers
which brings wonderful things to our lessons! Thanks for the great email Jeana's
story was hilarious! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENDRA!!! I was thinking about you all day
on Sunday! Mum I need a copy of my immunizations sent to me they need a couple
more dates and stuff! Also if you could send some emails to dear elder
that would be cool so I can get letters please let all our American
friends know my address! Thank you for all your love and support hugs and
kisses!!
