Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! and Happy Birthday Mum
and Ben!!! (Whew that’s a mouthful!)
Wow what an exciting week back home it was soo great to talk
to all of you guys! and it’s been just as exciting out here! For starters for the
rest of Christmas we went and had a big dinner with the Redds at their
apartment and then we went and taught English which was lots of fun we had a
showcase and I taught my class “Once There Was a Snowman” and then we did a way
funny dance to it! Then we went home finished for the day and I got a
stocking from Elder Gilley’s girlfriend, way nice I told him she’s definitely a
keeper! haha On Christmas eve we had a FHE with a part member family and the 2
less-active daughters came back to church! And we started teaching their
parents and older sister who aren’t members yet! On Thursday we had a
specialized training with our whole zone and it was sooo good like change my
mission good! I’ve just been far too selfish and self centered like my whole
life and I need to become more like the Savior and think of others and serve
them. Saturday we did a lot of service and cleaned the church just about all
day. Yesterday for p-day we went to the elephant village in Surin and it was
soo cool, but that’s the reason this letter is late, sorry. It was awesome and I
will send some pics next week. I am happy to report that I have filled my first
memory card! Alright, gotta go. LOVE YOU!
